The maned komodolf is a skilful scavenger, as well as a capable predator, able to take down prey several times it's size. Known by some as a "fuzzy dragon", it's thought to have originated the look of the eastern dragon depicted in many Asian cultures. Primarily solitary in nature, animals sometimes will lie together in groups to mutually enjoy the sunshine that warms their cold blooded bodies. The mane of hair along their back helps trap heat into their bodies, this allows them to make fast sprints toward prey. Attacks on humans are not uncommon and caution should be made if a komodolf is spotted sunning itself.
